PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input apparatus capable of simply determining quality of signal wirings due to chipping and cracking of a substrate.SOLUTION: The coordinate input apparatus includes: a transparent substrate SUB3 including detection electrodes XSE, YSE and a first signal wiring SIG1 connecting its one end to the detection electrodes and forming a first electrode terminal on the other end; and a flexible wiring substrate FPC2 connected to the first electrode terminal. The coordinate input apparatus further includes: a plurality of second electrode terminals and a plurality of third electrode terminals arranged on the side edge side of the transparent substrate; an inspecting second signal wiring SIG2 surrounding a detection region, formed on the outside of the first signal wiring and connecting its one end and the other end to the second electrodes terminals; and an inspecting third signal wiring surrounding the detection region, formed on the outside of the first signal wiring and connecting its one end and the other end to the third electrode terminals. The first electrode terminal, the plurality of second electrode terminals and the plurality of third electrode terminals are arrayed along one side of a side edge of the transparent substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
