PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power saving while enhancing security.SOLUTION: Image data stored in a main memory connected to a main CPU is transferred to an image processing work memory connected to an image processing CPU and converted into drive data (S106). The drive data stored in the image processing work memory are saved in the main memory before authentication information related to secure print is input (S108: NO) and a sleep mode starts (S110: YES), and electric power supplied to the image processing CPU and the image processing work memory is cut off (S115).
