PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure uniformity of cut-out images from the initial page to the last page of a book.SOLUTION: There is provided an image reading device (painting camera system 1) that turns each of pages P of a book B, photographs the pages P of the book B with imaging means (painting camera 2) for each of the pages P as a reference image G, and cuts out a predetermined area G1 of the reference image G as a trimming image. The image reading device includes: initial stage parameter designation means (personal computer 4) for designating a parameter related to the predetermined area G1 on a page P in the vicinity of the start of turning the page P; end stage parameter designation means (personal computer 4) for designating a parameter related to the predetermined area G1 on a page P in the vicinity of the end of turning the page P; determination means (personal computer 4) for determining a parameter on an arbitrary page P on the basis of the parameters designated by the initial stage parameter designation means and end stage parameter designation means; and correction means (personal computer 4) for correcting an image of an arbitrary page on the basis of the parameter determined by the determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
