PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect a position where a ground fault accident occurs, in a solar cell string in which a plurality of solar cell panels are connected in series.SOLUTION: A ground fault position detection device is configured to detect the position where the ground fault accident occurs, in the solar cell string that is brought into a floating state. The ground fault position detection device comprises: a plurality of measurement terminals which are connected to both terminals of the solar cell string; a grounding terminal which is grounded; a potential dividing part for generating a divided potential between the measurement terminals; a voltage detection part for detecting the divided potential relative to a potential in the grounding terminal; and an output part for outputting a result of the detection of the divided potential. The grounding terminal is grounded and after the measurement terminals are connected to both the terminals of the solar cell string, a potential dividing ratio of the potential dividing part is adjusted in such a manner that the divided potential becomes equal to the potential in the grounding terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
