PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous sizing agent that has no need of heat cleaning treatment required in the case of using an aqueous sizing agent including starch, eliminates the reduction in heat resistance caused in the case of using an aqueous sizing agent including a silane coupling agent and achieves stable and excellent weavability and openability.SOLUTION: The aqueous sizing agent contains 100 pts.mass of (A) a polyoxyalkylene bisphenol A ether, 10 to 200 pts.mass of (B) a polyalkylene glycol and/or a cationic fatty acid amide, 1 to 30 pts.mass of (C) a polyoxyalkylene diisopropyl ether and 1 to 30 pts.mass of (D) a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ester and/or a quaternary ammonium salt and/or an inorganic salt and contains no starch nor silane coupling agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
