PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device comprising a stroke simulator, which can achieve a good braking-operation feeling for a long time.SOLUTION: A stroke simulator comprises a simulator spring 33 that generates reaction force from an initial position of a brake pedal and a damper spring 34 that generates reaction force after the brake pedal is stepped in at a predetermined stroke. The damper spring 34 is formed, in a disk-like shape, of metal or resin in which settling hardly occurs. In an area where the brake pedal is stepped at a stroke beyond the predetermined stroke, a protruding part 316 of a cylinder 31 which interlocks with the brake pedal contacts the damper spring 34 and then deforms the damper spring 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
