PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool and a manufacturing method of a cutting workpiece, being simple in installing a plurality of cutting inserts, and having also excellent cutting capacity.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 20 on the embodiment of the present invention comprises a plurality of cutting inserts 1 and a holder 10 having a plurality of insert pockets 13, and the plurality of cutting inserts 1 are mutually different in a distance up to a corner cutting edge from an intersection between mutual respective virtual extension lines of an outer peripheral cutting edge and a front cutting edge, and a distance of a cutting insert 1A installed in the insert pocket 13A positioned on the most front side in the rotational direction of the holder 10 among the plurality of insert pockets 13, is larger than a distance of the cutting insert 1C installed in the insert pockets 13 positioned on the rearmost side in the rotational direction.
