PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain saw for which dressing work can be easily performed.SOLUTION: In a chain saw, also an arm 51 is so mounted as to be rotatable around a hand guard rotary shaft 17A as with a hand guard 17, movement of the arm 51 around the hand guard rotary shaft 17A is regulated by the hand guard 17. In the state as shown in Fig. 4 that the hand guard 17 is reclined backwards, a grind stone 52 is lowered and contacts a saw chain 31 bridged over a drive gear 19. At this time, a clutch drum 20B is not braked, and the saw chain 31 can be so made into a travelling state. Thus, dressing work for the saw chain 31 can be performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
