Provided is an electronic pen with which it is possible to obtain a dual pen-tip/eraser function, a dual-color pen function or the like, simply by performing an operation similar to an operation performed when a stationery writing instrument is being handled. The electronic pen is provided with: an emitter circuit which, when one of a first terminal and a second terminal is connected to ground via a predetermined capacitance, outputs an alternating-current signal from the other of the first terminal and the second terminal; a first signal delivery portion and a second signal delivery portion for delivering the alternating-current signal from the emitter circuit to the outside; and a first conductor portion and a second conductor portion that are disposed in positions such that a user is able to touch the conductor portions, and that are insulated from each other. The first terminal of the emitter circuit is connected to the first signal delivery portion and the first conductor portion, and the second terminal is connected to the second signal delivery portion and the second conductor portion. When the first conductor portion is touched by a human body, the alternating-current signal is delivered via the second signal delivery portion to the outside. When the second conductor portion is touched by a human body, the alternating-current signal is delivered via the first signal delivery portion to the outside. |
