The invention relates to a counterfeit-protected printed product, and concerns a multi-layered polymeric article, such as an identification document. The article comprises a plurality of polymeric layers connected by glue-free technology, in which coloured identifying and personalizing images are inscribed in at least one of the layers. The images are inscribed in the form of semi-transparent pixel matrices consisting of thin-film pixel elements with sub-pixel structures consisting of areas with metallized diffraction gratings. A minimum of two polymeric layers are connected by means of sintering. The pixel matrices are formed on the surfaces between the sintered layers, one of which is transparent, and consist of pixels of a size of 30 to 200 µm spaced apart from one another by a distance of 30 to 500 µm.
