PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy duty pneumatic tire having both wet performance and on-snow performance compatibly.SOLUTION: A heavy duty pneumatic tire 1 has plural blocks 8 on a tread 2. At least one of the blocks 8 is partitioned into 3 portions of a first outside piece 21, a second outside piece 22 and a central piece 24 between the first and second outside pieces by only two division sipes 18. The first outside piece 21 has a first protrusion 26 protruding stepwise on one side of the central piece 24 in a tire axial direction. Besides, the second outside piece 22 has a second protrusion 27 protruding stepwise on the other side of the central piece 24 in the tire axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
