PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion member having a wavelength conversion layer including quantum dot generating fluorescent light under excitation light irradiation in which peeling hardly occurs at interface of the wavelength conversion layer and light emission intensity is hardly decreased, a backlight unit in which peeling hardly occurs at interface of the wavelength conversion layer and light emission intensity is hardly decreased and high luminance is shown and provide a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A wavelength conversion member 1D comprises a wavelength conversion layer 30 in which polymerizable composition containing quantum dots [30A, 30B] emitting fluorescent light with excitation light irradiation and hardened; barrier layers [12,22] formed in at least one surface of the wavelength conversion layer 30 having a water vapor permeability of 0.1 g/(m*day*atm) or less; at least one layer inclusion layer present between the wavelength conversion layer 30 and the barrier layer 22; and a getter agent containing layer 40 including a getter agent 40G catching at least one of water and oxygen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
