PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image deletion device capable of reducing power consumption and ensuring user-friendliness.SOLUTION: An image deletion device comprising: a conveyance part conveying a recording medium; a deletion unit deleting an image formed on the conveyed recording medium; a sheet ejection part accommodating therein the recording medium having been subjected to image deletion by the deletion unit; a first detection unit detecting a quantity of recording mediums accommodated in the sheet ejection part; and a control unit controlling the conveyance part to convey the recording medium to the deletion unit, controlling the deletion unit to delete the image on the conveyed recording medium and controlling the conveyance part to convey the recording medium from which the image has been deleted to the sheet ejection part when it is determined that the quantity of the recording mediums detected by the first detection unit is not greater than a predetermined quantity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
