PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water emulsion composition that contains both ascorbic acid phosphoric acid ester salt and titanic oxide but has excellent temporal stability at high temperature.SOLUTION: An oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic contains the following components (a) to (d): (a) sorbitan fatty acid ester; (b) synthetic stevensite represented by the general formula (1) defined by MgNaSiO(OH).Na, where x+y is less than 3, x is a number greater than or equal to 2, y is from 0 to 0.1 inclusive, and z is a number greater than 0 and less than or equal to 1.0; (c) ascorbic acid phosphoric acid ester salt; (d) titanic oxide; and (e) a C16-22 higher alcohol. The oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic has excellent temporal stability at high temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
