PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum packaging device which prevents gas developed from ebullition and evaporation of liquid in a package bag from being sucked into a deaeration device such as a vacuum pump, and to provide a vacuum packaging method.SOLUTION: A vacuum package device is provided with: a chamber 2 storing a package bag in which a packaged material containing liquid is stored; a deaeration device 3 reducing pressure in the chamber 2; a slot closing device 5 set in the chamber 2 and closing a packaged object throw-in port Ba of a package bag B; and a sealing heater 6 sealing the packaged object throw-in port Ba; and a control device. The control device controls the deaeration device 3 and the slot closing device 5, reduces pressure in the inside of the chamber 2 in a state of storing the package bag B storing the packaged object while gripping the packaged object throw-in port Ba of the package bag B with the sealing heater 6, performs opening of the packaged object throw-in slot Ba and stop of pressure reduction in the chamber 2 when the package bag B is in a swollen state or when the inside of the package bag B turns into a boiling state, and controls the sealing heater 6 to block the packaged material, and blocks the packaged object throw-in port Ba.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
