A process cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive member, a charging device, and a developing device. The electrophotographic photosensitive member has a surface layer containing a polyarylate resin and a polycarbonate resin. The electrophotographic photosensitive member has an outer diameter of 23 mm or less and the developing device is configured to collect a residual toner left on the electrophotographic photosensitive member. A toner has a weight-average particle diameter (D4) of 7.1 μm or more and 10.0 μm or less, an average circularity of 0.95 or more, and an average aspect ratio of 0.90 or more.

1. A process cartridge detachably attachable to a main body of an electrophotographic apparatus, the process cartridge comprising:
a cylindrical electrophotographic photosensitive member; a charging device that charges the electrophotographic photosensitive member; and a developing device that forms a toner image on the electrophotographic photosensitive member through development using a toner, wherein the electrophotographic photosensitive member comprises a surface layer comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyarylate resin and a polycarbonate resin, the electrophotographic photosensitive member has an outer diameter of 23 mm or less, the developing device is configured to collect a residual toner left on the electrophotographic photosensitive member after the toner image has been transferred onto a transfer material, the toner has a weight-average particle diameter (D4) of 7.1 μm or more and 10.0 μm or less, the toner has an average circularity of 0.95 or more, and the toner has an average aspect ratio of 0.90 or more.
