Disclosed are a smart terminal for receiving phone call based notes and providing the same for a user and a note providing method. According to the present invention, the smart terminal provides notes by using a phone call history and an address book including occurrence recording regarding calls and text messages. An application on the smart terminal comprises: a note inputting unit for receiving text notes or voice from a user on the address book or a call on a phone call history; a note saving unit for saving the notes inputted by the call or user; and a call note alarming unit for searching notes of a call when the smart terminal makes or receives a call and outputting the searched notes on a screen to inform the user of the same. By using the present invention, users can register notes based on phone calls, receive alarming about the notes when making or receiving a call, and search relevant notes on the phone call history and address book. |
