The present disclosure provides for a method and a communication device (1) comprising an Electric Field, EF, sensor (2) and a communication circuitry (3) for initiating situational based communication actions in the communication device (1). The method comprises detecting (S2) a change in the electric field surrounding the communication device (1) using the EF sensor (2), determining (S3) that the change in the electric field has a predetermined characteristic and activating (S4) the communication circuitry (3) depending on the determination. |
