[Problem] To provide a luminescent medium which can more reliably prevent counterfeiting, prevent copying and improve secrecy. [Solution] This luminescent medium 1 is provided with a substrate 2, a first luminescent body 3 which is arranged on the substrate and which emits light of wavelengths in the visible wavelength region when irradiated with light of wavelengths in a first wavelength region consisting of wavelengths longer than those in the visible wavelength region, and a second luminescent body 4 which is arranged on the substrate and which emits light of wavelengths in the visible wavelength region when irradiated with light of wavelengths in a second wavelength region consisting of wavelengths shorter than those in the visible wavelength region.
