This component selection information is configured, from high to lower order, from selective layer information for performing static selection, composite layer information for performing synthesis, and adaptive layer information for performing dynamic switching. Acquisition destination information about a component subject to adaptive switching among the selectable components in the adaptive layer is used as information for designating the specific information position of a metafile having data stream acquisition information for adaptive streaming.
