Provided are: a molding method for a synthetic resin molding that is capable of limiting turbulence of molten resin flow at the side edge of the main body of a molding during injection molding and of manifesting a refined design surface on the main body of the molding; and a synthetic resin molding. For the synthetic resin molding, a curved section (3) that is curved toward the back surface thereof and a flange section (4) that extends to the side from said curved section (3) are provided in a joined manner on the side edge of the main body (2) of the molding along the length direction of the side edge, and the flange section (4) is configured from an intermixing of wide parts (5) and narrow parts (6A, 6B). For the synthetic resin molding, in addition to a gate being set at a position corresponding to an end of one side of the flange section (4) in the length direction and the molding being injection molded using a colored resin material into which a sparkling agent has been kneaded, a projection (7) for limiting interference of molten resin flow from the flange section (4) towards the main body (2) of the molding during injection molding is molded along the length direction of the side edge on the back side of the portion that becomes the boundary between the flange section (4) and the main body (2) of the molding. |
