Method of manufacturing a thermocouple-type temperature sensor comprising the following successive steps: a) introducing two thermocouple wires into a support tube made of a ceramic material until these wires protrude beyond said support tube; b) welding together the ends of said thermocouple wires that protrude beyond said support tube so as to form a thermocouple hot junction; c) at least partially introducing the support tube into a stainless steel reinforcing tube; d) attaching a cap over said reinforcing tube so as to protect said hot junction.
