The present invention relates to a control method of total oxygen of an operation to manufacture steel of an electric furnace, which lowers a total oxygen concentration of molten steel to improve a quality of a product, and to reduce a rate of defect. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the control method of total oxygen of the operation to manufacture steel of the electric furnace controls the total oxygen concentrations of the molten steel by inserting Mn and Si with 1.9-2.2 of an insertion rate (Mn/Si) when tapping the electric furnace of the operation to manufacture steel of the electric furnace.
