PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer rotor type brushless motor which automatically varies a field (changes a gear) in accordance with a magnitude of load torque together with a forward or backward rotating direction.SOLUTION: In the outer rotor type variable field motor, the field is varied by sliding an outer rotor 7 that is disposed radially outside of a stator, in an axial direction of the motor. The outer rotor has a divided structure of an inner rotor body 72 that slides in the axial direction of the motor, and an outer rotor body 71. A cam follower 75 is disposed in the inner rotor body 72, and a cam face 73a in the axial direction is formed in the outer rotor body 71. The cam follower 75 is configured movable along the cam face 73a in accordance with a load that is applied to a motor shaft 4, and the outer rotor 7 is practically slid in the axial direction of the motor relatively to the stator 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
