PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire receiving cap for making an electric wire that has dropped out from an insulator and has a binding wire still winding around it come to be able to conduct power transmission or at least temporary transmission (or temporary recovery) in a short time and safely as much as possible.SOLUTION: An electric wire receiving cap 100 is formed including: a fitting part 10 configured to be fit to an insulator; a band member 20; an electric wire securing part 30 to surround the vicinity of an electric wire outside the fitting part 10; and a holding-purpose part 40 provided in consideration of handling. The fitting part 10 includes an elastically-deformable aperture 101 to cap the insulator, and can make part of the insulator intrude into its inside. The band member 20 tightens the fitting part 10 from the outside surface of the fitting part 10 to fasten it. The electric wire securing part 30 includes a surrounding member 302 into which a gate 301 is incorporated as an open-close mechanism outside the fitting part 10, and is made to be a configuration in which the electric wire is moved to an area where it can be surrounded by the surrounding member 302 via the gate 301 to surround the vicinity of the electric wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
