PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head capable of eliminating static electricity charged on a recording medium.SOLUTION: A thermal head X1 includes a head base 3 having a plurality of heat generation parts, a radiator 1 which is disposed below the head base 3 and has conductivity, and a static electricity elimination member 33 for eliminating static electricity charged on a recording medium P. The head base 3 includes a contact part 3a that comes in contact with the recording medium P on the heat generation part. The static electricity elimination member 33 includes a tip 33b located on a recording medium side as compared with the other parts. Since part of the radiator 1 is located between the contact part 3a and the tip 33b, a possibility of the static electricity elimination member 33 coming into contact with the recording medium P is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
