PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform positioning of paper by a paper guide part easily and appropriately.SOLUTION: A paper feeder includes a paper loading stand 2 on which paper P is loaded and a paper guide part 32F for guiding the paper P so as to align the edge P1 of the paper P loaded on the paper loading stand 2. The paper guide part 32F includes a first guide member 11 provided so as to freely come into contact with or separate from the edge P1 of the paper P, and a second guide member 12 provided so as to freely move to the first guide member 11, which can contact the edge P1 of the paper P.
