PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which efficiently performs data transmission/reception while corresponding to power-saving operation.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus having a first operation mode and a second operation mode with less power consumption comprises an operation mode control part which controls the image formation apparatus so as to shift between the first operation mode and the second operation mode, a communication part, a storage part having a storage capacity of the first data volume, and a data processing part which performs processing of received image formation data. The communication part, to start reception of the image formation data from a communication device when in the second operation mode, performs communication with the communication device with a window size of the second data volume equal to or less than the first data volume, stores the image formation data received from the communication device in the storage part during a transitional period of shifting from the second operation mode to the first operation mode, and supplies the data stored in the storage part to the data processing part at the time of shifting from the second operation mode to the first operation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
