The present invention provides a method and system for sharing traffic of a terminal. The method comprises: a first terminal sends a traffic sharing request to a traffic sharing server; the traffic sharing server generates a hotspot name and a hotspot password according to the traffic sharing request, and sends the hotspot name and the hotspot password to the first terminal; the first terminal establishes a sharing hotspot according to the hotspot name and the hotspot password; a second terminal acquires the hotspot name of the sharing hotspot, and uploads the hotspot name of the sharing hotspot to the traffic sharing server; the traffic sharing server sends the hotspot password corresponding to the hotspot name to the second terminal; and the second terminal logs in to the sharing hotspot according to the hotspot password. By means of the method and the system, a user can maximize the use of package traffic of a terminal more properly. |
