PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a life in a PSOC (Partial State of Charge) application by suppressing the outflow of carbon from a negative electrode active material of a liquid-type lead storage battery.SOLUTION: A liquid-type lead storage battery 6 comprises: a negative electrode plate 8 and positive electrode plates 9 which are opposed to each other in a thickness direction thereof; an electrolytic solution in which the positive and negative electrode plates are immersed; and elastic sheets 12 composed of a porous material, and disposed between the negative electrode plate 8 and the positive electrode plates 9 to pressurize the negative electrode plate 8 with a pressure force of 10 kPa or larger along the thickness direction from both sides.
