PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on focus control processing when a focal position of a lens is not determined from contrast evaluation values of focus object areas.SOLUTION: An acquisition part (12) acquires image data of a plurality of first frames in which the position of a lens in the optical axis direction is different from each other. A moving part (16), when a focal position of the lens is not determined on the basis of contrast evaluation values of focus object areas of the plurality of first frames, on the basis of the size of the contrast evaluation values in the focus object areas and the position of an area where the contrast evaluation value is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold in respective image data of the plurality of first frames or a plurality of second frames newly acquired by the acquisition part, determines a direction to move the focus object areas and moves the focus object areas in the determined direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
