PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a substantial complete air-tight and fluid-tight state to be kept for a long period of time by making a case main body of complete hollow structure without connecting a plurality of members at their end parts and at same time to prevent the case main body from being warped due to its thermal expansion, provide a case for LED lighting lamp constituted by providing a supporting part for the light source body constituted by LED elements only at its rear side and further provide the case for LED lighting lamp showing further improved added value.SOLUTION: A case 10 for LED lamp used for a straight pipe fluorescent lamp type LED lamp has a case main body 20 of hollow structure formed into a fine elongated cylinder shape in a prescribed direction and a rear reinforcing member 100. The case main body 20 has a reinforcing member holding part 21 for holding the reinforcing member 100 within the case main body 20, and the reinforcing member holding part 21 has a base part 101 for the reinforcing member 100 movably arranged in respect to the case main body 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
