PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety control device for vehicle start time capable of suppressing contact with other vehicles and pedestrians by arousing attention of the other vehicles traveling in a parking place and the pedestrians, when a vehicle starts from a parked state.SOLUTION: A safety control device is mounted on a vehicle and has a laser projection part for projecting a predetermined pattern on a road surface, and a body ECU for controlling the laser projection part. The body ECU determines a projection direction of the laser projection part to be one of a forward direction and a backward direction of the vehicle based on a shift signal outputted from a sensor for detecting a shift operation by an operator, in the case where a vehicle speed is 0 or equal to or less than a predetermined speed. The body ECU projects the predetermined pattern (arrow 50) on the road surface which is in the determined projection direction by controlling the laser projection part, and in the case where the vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined speed, it performs stop control on the projection of the arrow 50 which is the predetermined pattern of the laser projection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
