PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevation difference measuring device which is compact and has high installability and which is capable of measuring a fine elevation difference up to a large elevation difference.SOLUTION: An elevation difference measuring device 1 comprises: a first container 2 which is disposed at one position and into which a liquid L1 is injected so that a gas G1 remains inside; a second container 3 which is disposed spaced apart from the first container 2 and into which a liquid L2 is injected so that a gas G2 remains inside; a liquid connecting pipe 6 which is connected to the first container 2 and the second container 3 and in which the liquids L1 and L2 are made to communicate with each other; a first liquid end reading part 7 which measures a distance moved by a liquid surface position in an inclined direction by a certain angle with respect to a horizontal surface within the first container 2; a second liquid end reading part 8 which measures a distance moved by a liquid surface position in an inclined direction by a certain angle with respect to a horizontal surface within the second container 3; and an elevation difference calculating part 9 which calculates a displacement amount of an elevation difference between the first container 2 and the second container 3 from the distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
