A construction machine is provided with a cooling fan (10) for supplying air taken in through a radiator (30) to an engine; and a shroud (11) provided on the outer peripheral side of the cooling fan and forming a passage for the air taken in through the radiator. The construction machine is further provided with a tank (12) for storing cooling water supplied to the radiator and the engine and disposed above the upper end of the radiator; and a cover (14B) mounted in an openable/closable manner to an opening (14A) provided in the upper face plate (11B) of the shroud. The tank (12) is provided adjacent to the shroud (11) and closer to the engine than the cover (14B).
