摘要 Disclosed are a thumbwheel structure, a remote controller using the thumbwheel structure, and a control method, wherein the thumbwheel structure comprises: a load-bearing member (410); a thumbwheel (420) movably connected to the load-bearing member (410), the thumbwheel (420) being able to slide relative to the thumbwheel structure in a pre-set direction and being rotatable around a rotating shaft (420a), and the axial direction of the rotating shaft (420a) intersecting with the sliding direction of the thumbwheel (420); a rotational sensor (430) for obtaining rotational state information about the thumbwheel (420); and a sliding sensor (440) for obtaining sliding state information about the thumbwheel (420). The thumbwheel (420) of the thumbwheel structure has a plurality of active modes, such as the thumbwheel (420) being capable of rotating around the rotating shaft (420a), or the thumbwheel (420) sliding in the pre-set direction. Active information state of the thumbwheel (420) is obtained by the sensors, such that the thumbwheel (420) is operated by means of one active mode or a combination of a plurality of operating modes so as to achieve the purpose of a plurality of operating functions, whereby a plurality of functions can be controlled without arranging a plurality of thumbwheel structures or other control structures. Thus, it is convenient to control a plurality of functions by the thumbwheel structure.
