PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure gas-liquid contact time in a gas-liquid contact type exhaust emission control system for cleaning an exhaust gas (such as removal of harmful matter) by bringing the exhaust gas into contact with water (treatment liquid).SOLUTION: In the exhaust emission control system, the water W is sprayed to the exhaust gas G circling inside a treatment chamber 1 from a same direction, a nozzle 2 for spraying the water W is provided on a side of a starting end from which the exhaust gas is introduced from the treatment chamber 1, a screw 3 for circling a mixture gas GW of the exhaust gas G and the water W so as to be drawn on a side of a terminal end from which the exhaust gas from the treatment chamber 1 is discharged, and the treatment chamber 1 provided with the nozzle 2 and the screw 3 is configured to be multistep where the starting end sides of the treatment chambers 1 continuing to the terminal end side are connected to one another.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
