PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can hold a color balance even when the shape of sub pixels are made different to increase the density of the pixels.SOLUTION: A display device includes a display part that has a plurality of pixels arranged in matrix. The pixels each include a first sub pixel that has the largest area in the sub pixels; a second sub pixel that has a smaller area than that of the first sub pixel and is adjacent to the first sub pixel; and a third pixel that is adjacent to the first sub pixel and second sub pixel, has a smaller area than that of the first sub pixel, and is arranged in the same sub pixel row as the second sub pixel. A first pixel, second pixel, and third pixel, of the pixels, arranged at least in one direction of a row and a column include a first sub pixel, second sub pixel, and third sub pixel that can display any one of a first color, second color, and third color, which are different from each other. The first color, second color, and third color that can be displayed by the first pixel, second pixel, and third pixel as a whole have the area equal to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
