PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral composition which has reduced foam residues or a reduced remaining feel of a formulation in the oral cavity despite less number of times of water rinse by improved rinsing properties, gives a continuous refreshing feeling which remains on the tooth surface and a good aftertaste, and has a good feeling of use.SOLUTION: The invention provides an oral composition containing (A) a nonionic surfactant, (B) L-menthol, and (C) 3-hydroxybutanoic acid menthyl, wherein the total content of the component (B) and (C) is 0.15-0.4 mass%, and (B)/(C) is 1-30 as a mass ratio. The above oral composition also contains one or more kinds selected from (D) 3-L-menthoxypropane-1, 2-diol, N-ethyl-p-menthane-3-carboxamide, isopulegol, N-methyl-2,2-isopropylmethyl-3-methyl butanamide, N-(4-cyano methylphenyl)-p-menthane carboxamide, menthyl mono-succinate, menthyl lactate, and menthone glycerol ketal.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
