PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle maintenance device that can reduce the number of working steps of an operator to enhance the working efficiency.SOLUTION: A nozzle maintenance device includes a holder type detection sensor 30 for detecting the type of a holder 3 casted into a holder casting unit 23, and a controller 28 as switching means for switching at least one of a cleaning operation of a nozzle 2 performed by a nozzle cleaning unit 26 according to the type of the holder 3 detected by the holder type detection sensor 30, and an inspecting operation of the nozzle 2 performed by a nozzle inspection unit 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
