PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device and a parking support method enabled to improve the estimation accuracy of parking space information by precisely estimating the reflection point position of an object or a detection object of a distance sensor.SOLUTION: In the case of an induction mode state, a reflection point position is newly estimated by either a two-circle intersection processing or a two-circle tangent estimation in accordance with the position of an object to be detected by a distance sensor (100), thereby to correct the parking space information estimated in a searching mode state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
