The method comprises the following steps: providing a substrate (11); forming a gate electrode (12) on the substrate (11); sequentially forming a first insulation layer (13) and an active layer (14) on the gate electrode (12); forming a first black matrix (150) on the active layer (14); forming a source electrode (16) and a drain electrode (17) on the first black matrix (150); forming a second insulation layer (18) on the source electrode (16) and the drain electrode (17); and forming a pixel electrode (19) on the second insulation layer (18), wherein the pixel electrode (19) is electrically connected to one of the source electrode (16) and the drain electrode (17) via the second insulation layer (18). By means of the above-mentioned method, a light-shading effect of a display panel composed of the TFT substrate can be ensured, and a coupling capacitance between a data line and a scan line is reduced.
