The present invention relates to an undercover having sound absorption performance using scrap, and more specifically, to an undercover having sound absorption performance using scrap, comprising: a core layer made of low weight reinforced thermoplastics (LWRT) where resin is impregnated with glass fibers and having multiple air holes formed inside; a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) scrim layer integrally formed on the upper part of the core layer; and a film layer integrally formed on the lower part of the core layer. The undercover, having sound absorption performance using scrap, is reinforced by partially attaching scrap, which remains after the undercover is formed, to the upper cover. According to the present invention, the strength of the undercover covering the lower part of a chassis as well as the lower part of the engine of a vehicle is increased, and sound absorption characteristic is also improved, thereby satisfying emotional quality without an increase in the weight of the undercover. |
