PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for appropriately updating software used for communication between an information processing device and electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes: connection means that can be connected with an electronic apparatus by first communication means or second communication means; reception means that receives, from the electronic apparatus via the second communication means, information indicating the capability of software which is required for performing communication with the electronic apparatus by the first communication means; determination means that determines whether or not software of the information processing device satisfies the capability; acquisition means that obtains, when it is determined by the determination means that the software of the information processing device does not satisfy the capability, software satisfying the capability via a network by third communication means; and control means that enables, if update to software satisfying the capability is performed, communication with the electronic apparatus by the first communication means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
