PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can reduce total power cost for a user who operates the image forming device at night time with a power source being in an off state.SOLUTION: A print time power amount calculation unit 304 calculates a power amount consumed in printing of all the printing jobs held in a reserved job holding part 301. A standby time power amount calculation unit 305 calculates a power amount consumed for standby during the time from the timing designated by a user until printing job execution start schedule time. A cost calculation unit 306 calculates power cost in the case where all the printing jobs are executed at the designated timing, and power cost in the case where all the printing jobs are executed at the printing job execution start schedule time, based on each calculated power amount and power cost information. An execution timing determination unit 307 determines execution timing of all the printing jobs based on the power cost calculated by the cost calculation unit 306.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
