PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a technique enabling a preform formed by a direct blow molding to be stably shaped into a container without rupturing during biaxially-oriented blow molding.SOLUTION: A preform for biaxially-oriented blow molding is made to have a bottomed cylindrical shape by direct blow molding, and shaped into a container by using a liquid pressure medium. The preform has a monolayer or multilayer structure, and at least one layer thereof is formed with a polyethylene resin with MFR of 1.0-1.5 g/10 min.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
