PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal and its communication method that can reduce an impact and continue normal radio communication even if trouble with some radio communication units occurs when performing radio communication in accordance with an adaptive array system using a plurality of radio communication units.SOLUTION: A communication terminal (base station 100) according to the present invention performs radio communication in accordance with an adaptive array system using a plurality of radio communication units (a first radio communication unit 120a to a fourth radio communication unit 120d). The communication terminal comprises: a weight generation unit 112 that generates reception weight from the phase and amplitude of a signal received by each of the plurality of radio communication units, and generates transmission weight using the reception weight; and an abnormality detection unit 114 for detecting abnormality in each of the plurality of radio communication units. If the abnormality detection unit detects abnormality in a radio communication unit, the weight generation unit generates transmission weight by reducing the reception weight of the radio communication unit in which the abnormality is detected to zero.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
