The present invention relates to the technical field of payments. Provided are a POS terminal and payment system comprising the same. The POS terminal is provided with an acoustic magnetic sensor unit for receiving sound wave information indicating at least a part of magnetic stripe information and converting the sound wave information to generate corresponding magnetic field information. The payment system comprises a mobile card-reading terminal and the POS terminal; the mobile card-reading terminal is provided with a sound wave formation and generation unit thereon; and the sound wave formation and generation unit has a wireless coupling with the magnetic sensor unit, and transmits to the magnetic sensor unit the sound wave information indicating at least a part of magnetic stripe information. The POS terminal is easy to realize and has low cost, and the payment system improves convenience during payment, and facilitates a reduction in the weight of a user wallet.
