PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a fuel supply pump 12 without providing a dedicated fuel supply sensor in the case where no fuel is supplied or the fuel supply amount is small while fuel is supplied to a fuel tank 8 by using the fuel supply pump 12.SOLUTION: Based on a signal from a fuel gauge 15, the residual amount of fuel in a fuel tank 8 is calculated, and fuel supply amount is calculated by a control section CPU for outputting the calculation data to a fuel meter 16 to display the residual amount of fuel. While fuel is supplied, whether or not the fuel is supplied into the fuel tank 8 and whether or not the predetermined amount or more of fuel is supplied are determined. When a determination that fuel is not supplied or that the fuel supply amount is smaller than set supply amount is made, a fuel supply pump is stopped. Thus, without providing a dedicated sensor, an abnormality of the fuel supply can be determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
