PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder and a paper protecting tool capable of suppressing degradation of an adhesive paste applied to an envelope paper.SOLUTION: The paper feeder feeds an envelope paper P in the conveyance direction, and includes a paper feeding table 11 for placing the envelope paper P layered in a vertical direction V, and a paper protecting tool 100 which is arranged in the upper side of the envelope paper P placed on the paper feeding table 11 to protect the envelope paper P. In the envelope paper P, a paste region B applied with the adhesive paste on the upper side surface thereof is formed, and the paper protecting tool 100 includes a contact member 110 contacting the paste region B so as to cover the paste region B formed on the envelope paper P of the top layer placed on the paper feeding table 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
